Rivers Christian College is the sixteenth school operated by Christian Community Ministries (CCM).

The College was established to meet a long-held desire from Christians in the region for a local Christian school, and the CCM Board’s conviction that a town the size of Inverell deserves to have one. It is the second CCM school located in New South Wales.

 

After a lengthy development and accreditation process, the College commenced operations in February 2026 with students from Kindergarten to Year 4. The College plans to add one year level annually until it reaches a full K–12 cohort by 2034.

 

CCM is committed to providing a values-based Christian education to all who seek it. Guided by the motto Educating for Eternity … Equipping for Life, CCM believes in delivering not only academic excellence, but also strong spiritual guidance rooted in Biblical principles. This holistic approach aims to nurture each student’s personal development and empower them to use their God-given talents in service to God and their communities.
